Free online concerts, performances, lectures with the subject “Love in Ancient Drama” on Youtube, every night at 21.00, from the 21st of September to the 2nd of October 2020. Co-organized with Eleusis 2021- European Capital of Culture.
Having public health protection as a top priority and in full accordance with the latest decisions of the Municipal Authority of Eleusis, the 8th Attiko School of Ancient Drama will be carried out from the 21st of September to the 2nd of October exclusively online, presenting a full program of theatrical performances, concerts and activities.
Furthermore, the 35 grant-holders of our school will have the chance to attend online its 10-day program, which includes ten 3-hour workshops with some of the most important professionals in this field, such as:Acting with Martha Frintzila, Nikos Hatzopoulos and Camilo Bentancor, vocal training and singing with Savina Yannatou and Marina Satti, speech training with Georgia Tsangaraki, movement and contemporary dance with Konstantina Efthimiadou and Chara Kotsali, shadow theatre with Athos Danellis and intralingual translation with Nikoletta Frintzila.

SHADOW THEATRE PERFORMANCE “Karagiozis, the artist” by the Athens Shadow Theatre Company of Athos Danellis
Athos Danellis sets up his stage at Baumstrasse and presents a play from the Greek Shadow Theatre, inviting young and old to follow the adventures of Karagiozis and laugh their hearts out.
From 2012 to 2019 Attiko School developed its actionthrough the collaboration with institutions, foundations, organizations, artists and groups from Greece and abroad, playing a decisive role to the creation of the International Network of Ancient Drama,which is under the auspices and the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports since July 2017. Since 2017 the Attiko School of Ancient Drama forms part of the scope of activities of Eleusis 2021- European Capital of Culture.
